My Favorite Year

Lucie turned one yesterday! We've done much celebrating, and she has enjoyed being the center of attention. It's been a crazy busy and full year with many ups and downs, and it certainly has been my favorite year ever. We've been so blessed with this wonderful baby (now more like a little kid)! Please enjoy this video chronicling a Year in the Life of Lucinda!

Oh my gosh, she is so adorable. I love this; it makes me realize we need to take more video and photos of James as he grows. It's amazing how much they change in that first year!

Nicole,
I believe that God had me find this for a reason. About a month ago, I found out I was pregnant. And about 2 weeks ago my mother in law was asking me what I was going to name my baby. Now, I'm only 7 weeks, so I don't know if it's a boy or a girl. However, God had impressed a name upon my heart already. So here I am at home, goofing around on the internet and decided to type God's choice name into google to see what comes up, and I found you. You see, He told me to name the baby Evangeline Marie. The more I thought about names, a part of me was thinking no way, maybe something else. But when I found your page on your little Evie, I knew that I needed to name the baby that. The name had sounded beautiful to me, but your sweet little one made it shine. I will tell her *if it's a girl of course* about your Evie, and how precious she was to you. God Bless you and your family and congrats on your new little one.

Wow! Thank you so much for telling us about that. What a sweet thing to hear! It's always special to us, especially as the years pass, to know Evie still has an impact on this world. As her parents, it makes us proud. And it really is a lovely name! Congratulations on your pregnancy! I pray you and the little one will be happy and healthy in the weeks and months to come!
